The President has issued a new Executive Order (E.O.), "Blocking Property and Suspending Entry Into the United States of Certain Persons Contributing to the Destabilizing Situation in the Western Balkans." The administration has commented that this E.O. was instituted in the pursuit of various international agreements as well as the general goal of combatting corruption in the region.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated their Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List with four Nicaragua related designations. All of the designations were placed upon single individuals.

OFAC has updated their SDN List with counter terrorism, Iran-related and Syria-related designations. The twenty-nine designations included both individuals and entities from a wide variety of countries in including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and China amongst others.
