July 6, 2021

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a reminder that the Annual Report of Blocked Property is due by September 30, 2021. The reports mandated by OFAC should only consist of blocked items that are in the reporter's possession as of June 30, 2021. If the reporter is in possession of items that were unblocked before June 30 then these items should not be listed in the reporting. The official regulations detailing the annual report are codified at 31 C.F.R. § 501.603.
