The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has published the "Sanctions Compliance Guidance for the Virtual Currency Industry" brochure. The brochure offers guidance as to how users of virtual currencies can remain in compliance with OFAC sanctions through establishing clear preventive procedures. The brochure also offers very specific compliance program tips for the virtual currency industry.
