The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated their Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List with counter terrorism designations. The designations consist of three individuals and an entity from Lebanon.

OFAC has updated their SDN List with Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Designations. The four designations were placed upon four individuals fronm the Ukraine.
OFAC has issued Venezuela-related General License 5I, "Authorizing Certain Transactions Related to the Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. 2020 8.5 Percent Bond on or After January 20, 2023." In response to this new General Licnese OFAC has also added the new Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) 595.
OFAC is amending the Transnational Criminal Organizations Sanctions Regulations and completely reissuing them. The amendment took effect upon publication on January 21, 2022.
OFAC has amnded the definition of applicable schedule amount contained in apendix A to 31 CFR part 501. This amendment took effect upon publication in the Federal Register on January 21, 2022.
