The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated their Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List with counter-terrorism designations from Lebanon as well as a single Venezuela-related designation.

September 9, 2020

OFAC and the Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (DBTCA) have agreed to two settlements totaling $583,100 after DBTCA was found to have violated Ukraine-related sanctions regulations. DBTCA failed to properly screen their transactions which led to the facilitation of 61 payments related to a designated oil company in Cyprus.
