The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued the Venezuela-related General License 8G. The full name of the license is Authorizing Transactions Involving Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PdVSA) Necessary for the Limited Maintenance of Essential Operations in Venezuela or the Wind Down of Operations in Venezuela for Certain Entities.

OFAC has updated their SDN List with North Korea and Syria-related designations. The North Korea related sanctions arose from interactions between trading corporations in Russia and North Korea.
