Information Adapted from The USCBP Messaging Systems
In alignment with the Modernization of the Customs Broker Regulations Final Rule, customs brokers must submit new employee and terminated employee information within 30 days of employment and termination, respectively. This employee information is managed at the national permit level.
For customs brokers with an ACE Portal account, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has completed the transfer of all employee information from the local permits to the national permits, and the Add Employee/Upload Employee feature is now available to users in the modernized ACE Portal. Users are advised to review all migrated and uploaded data for accuracy and completeness.
The Add Employee function is used for a single entry while the Upload Employee is used to bulk upload employees using spreadsheets. The employee upload spreadsheet currently has a maximum limit of 50 employees per upload.
