Deanna Clark, Esq. is the Managing Attorney of the Clark-Esposito Law Firm, P.C. with 20 years of legal experience in the areas of US Customs law and imports, OFAC and BIS in relation to exports and logistics matters, and FDA, TTB, and DEA law in relation to food, tobacco, dietary supplements and hemp products compliance. She is also President Emeritus of the Organization of Women in International Trade – NY and a former Advisory Board Member to the Urban Academy School for Global Commerce in Harlem (NYC). She is also the author of the book, “A Practical Guide to Fashion Law & Compliance” and a former adjunct professor of International Business Law at NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) and International Business Transactions at Baruch College.

Prior to starting her own law firm, Deanna headed up the global trade compliance regulatory division of a New York City based 3PL and worked at a well-respected international trade law firm.  Deanna and her team help clients streamline their global business operations. They represent clients, both foreign and domestic, on matters from implementing operational compliance solutions to the resolution of imminent problems.

Debra Weiss, Esq. is a Senior Attorney at the Clark-Esposito Law Firm, P.C. and has practiced in the areas of United States Customs/export regulation and trade compliance for more than 20 years. Debra counsels importers, exporters and Customs brokers, thus preventing costly penalties and sanctions. She also represents the interests of such entities through all levels of adversarial proceedings related to the United States regulation of imports and exports. Her efforts have resulted in the avoidance of large penalties and secured the release of seized freight.

Debra develops C-TPAT and import/export compliance programs for a wide range of companies. She has considerable expertise with the specific requirements of the following industries: food, electronics, automotive, textiles and apparel, footwear, building materials, production machinery including solar power, general merchandise, and petroleum.

Jacob Lundy is a Legal Research Analyst at the Clark-Esposito Law Firm, P.C. where he performs in-depth policy, regulatory, and statutory research and analysis for the firm across a wide array of jurisdictions within the firm’s practice areas. He is currently completing advanced degrees in law, specializing in comparative law – with a particular emphasis on the constitutional and rights regimes of western nations. Russian legal philosophy and Russian constitutional law comprise a major component of Jacob’s academic work in comparative law.

Prior to embarking on his second career at the Clark-Esposito Law Firm, P.C., Jacob was a commissioned and decorated member of the New Orleans Police Department, where Jacob was assigned for several years in the homicide section, followed by extensive work in criminal justice reform initiatives, among other assignments. Jacob credits his interest in comparative law to his many years living in a variety of foreign nations, followed by his law enforcement career in the United States’ only civilian/mixed law jurisdiction, Louisiana.
