My Story

Jennifer handles both transactional and litigated civil, commercial, and administrative law cases, firmly believing that taking on litigated matters makes attorneys better at preparing and negotiating transactional matters.

She has a rich history in handling administrative matters and matters involving the cross-implications of federal and state law, including those related to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other tobacco-related laws.

Her experience includes an array of complex litigation and transactional matters, including commercial disputes, and she serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing governmental entities in Illinois in transactional real estate matters.

Jennifer has taught as an Affiliate Professor at the UNT Dallas College of Law, and from 2018 to the present, she has collaborated with Lexis Nexis as an author/editor for the probate volume of the Dorsaneo Texas Litigation Guide. Jennifer also serves as a private arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) Dispute Resolution Services and has served as both a consulting and testifying expert witness on Louisiana law in Texas lawsuits.

She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She has served as a Chair and member of multiple state and local bar association committees. Jennifer also has served as a volunteer attorney for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, and currently volunteers with the Pro Bono Network.
