The Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990 has been implemented to amend regulations and adjust the maximum amount of civil monetary penalties to inflation. The regulatory amendment will take effect on April 9, 2020.

The North Korea sanction regulations, 31 C.F.R part 510, are being amended to further implement the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016. The amendments will take effect on April 10,2020.
