The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued cyber-related General License 1B, "Authorizing Certain Transactions with the Federal Security Service." Along with this new license OFAC has also updated their frequently asked questions (FAQs) 501, 502 and 503. OFAC has also updated their Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List with designations of individuals and entities from Yemen and Russia.

OFAC has updated their SDN List with a single Kingpin Act designation on a Mexican individual. The Kingpin Act was intimated specifically to target and dismantle international narcotics trafficking.

OFAC has updated their SDN List with Iran-related and counter-terrorism designations. The designations were placed on two Iranian individuals.
